Give them a lesson in Transformation Class by making Magic Milk!
Pour some whole milk in a pie pan and allow milk to warm to room temperature. Place a few drops of different colored food coloring into the pan of milk. Next, place a few drops of liquid soap into the pan of milk. The soap will break down the fat in the milk and cause the food coloring to swirl into some tye-dyelike designs.

2 ounces of chocolate chips
1 cups raisins
2 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken into 1-inch pieces

Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes; stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments until chocolate is almost melted. Remove from microwave. Stir in raisins and pretzels. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Makes 35 pieces.

Mix and match your New Year Decor with New Year and Casino Decor. Never underestimate the power of decorating with balloons, they can transform any size room into an amazing festive look in minutes at a very low cost. For a "big bang" this New Year celebration (if you don't mind the mess), add confetti to deflated balloons using a funnel. Blow up the balloons and tie a piece of curling ribbon to the end of each one. Using tape, or straight pins, hang balloons down from the ceiling so they hang at different lengths. A few minutes before midnight, hand out the pins and when the clock strikes 12, let your guests pop the balloons and let the confetti fly!! For a not-so-messy addition, try our balloon drop!

Derby Hat Centerpiece
Place a small hole in the middle of a plastic derby hat. Helium inflate 2 black and 2 red latex balloons with a mylar dice balloon and tie curling ribbon to each balloon. Place the ribbon through the hole of the hat and tie ribbon to a balloon weight. Arrange the hat on a square of green felt and place paper money, dice, poker chips, and cards around the hat on the table.

The Bidding Begins
Instruct each of your guests to bring a wrapped "white elephant" gift; these are essentially useless or just plain silly. Upon their arrival, give your gamblers a large supply of chips and play money. They can earn more or less gambling for the night. At a designated quitting time, auction off the "white elephant" gifts that your gamblers can bid on with their winnings.

To make a dozen of Madeline’s Devilish eggs, you will need six hard boiled eggs.

Peel eggs, slice in half, and scoop out the yolk. Mix the yolk with 1 tsp. prepared mustard and 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise. Mix ingredients together with a fork until smooth. Scoop mixture into each egg-white halves and top with paprika.

Refrigerate until meal time and serve cold.

Ingredients
(Makes 12 hats)

1 (18-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury� Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
12 purchased lemon or orange mini muffins
2 cups Pillsbury� Creamy Supreme� Vanilla Frosting (from two 16oz. cans)
Blue and yellow food color

Directions

1. Using slice and bake method, bake and cool 12 cookies as directed on cookie wrapper. Reserve remaining dough for a later use.

2. If necessary, remove papers from muffins. Cut 3/4inch slice off bottom of each muffin to use for bonnet. Reserve muffin tops for snacking. Spread cut side of each muffin bottom with frosting; attach to cookie, frosting side down. Place bonnets on rack set over 15x10x1inch baking pan.

3. Place 1/2 cup frosting in resealable plastic bag. Add blue food color; squeeze bag until well mixed and of desired color.

4. Place remaining frosting in microwavesafe measuring cup with pouring spout. Microwave on HIGH for 30 to 40 seconds or until pourable. DO NOT BOIL. Stir in enough yellow food color for desired yellow color.

5. Pour yellow frosting over bonnets in circular motion to cover completely. Reheat frosting as needed to keep it pourable. Let stand 10 minutes or until set.

6. Remove bonnets from rack with small spatula, smoothing edges of frosting. Cut tiny hole in corner of bag with blue frosting. Pipe ribbon of frosting for hatband; add bow design.

Makes 20 Servings

Ingredients

CAKE/CUPCAKES:

1 (18.25-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury� Moist Supreme� Yellow Cake Mix

1 (18-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury� Refrigerated Sugar Cookies

1 cup water

1/3 cup oil

3 eggs

FROSTING:

1 (16-oz.) can Pillsbury� Creamy Supreme� Vanilla Frosting

1 (16-oz.) can Pillsbury� Creamy Supreme� Hot Fudge Frosting

Yellow icing color

Directions

Heat oven to 350�F. Grease and flour 12 miniature muffin cups and one 2 1/2-quart ovenproof bowl with sloped sides. In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs; beat at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Fill each greased and floured muffin cup with about 2 teaspoons batter (about half full). Pour remaining batter (about 3 1/2 cups) into greased and floured bowl.

Bake at 350�F. For muffin cups, bake 12 to 17 minutes; for bowl, bake 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool muffins in cups and cake in bowl for 15 minutes. Remove bowl cake from bowl by inverting onto wire rack; remove muffins from muffin cups. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.

Bake 12 cookies as directed on package. (Be sure slices are round before baking.) Line large cookie sheet with foil. With lightly floured hands, press remaining cookie dough into 10-inch round on foil-lined cookie sheet.

Bake at 350�F for 11 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookie on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Carefully remove cookie from foil; place on wire rack set over sheet of waxed paper. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.

Trim rounded side of each muffin and cake to level.

In microwave-safe cup with pouring spout, tint 2 cans vanilla frosting with yellow icing color. Frost trimmed side of each muffin with about 1/2 teaspoon frosting; place on top of cookie to form hats.

Using about 3 tablespoons frosting to attach, place cake, trimmed side down, on top of large cookie. Place hats on wire rack set in 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

Microwave remaining yellow frosting on HIGH for 50 to 60 seconds or until frosting is thin enough to pour. DO NOT BOIL. Pour about 1 1/2 cups frosting over large hat in circular motion to cover completely. Repeat if necessary. Pour remaining frosting over small hats. Reheat frosting as needed to keep pourable. Spread if necessary. Let stand 10 minutes or until set.

Remove hats from rack with pancake turner or spatula. If desired, smooth edges of frosting around brim of each hat. Pipe ribbon of fudge frosting around each hat for hatband. If desired, add bow design.

Step 3:
With a pastry bag, create pink icing corner pillars and a door with mini jawbreaker studs.
Step 4:
Set the gumdrops and Good & Plentys around the castle ledge, then add decorative loops of gel icing and the mini candy hearts.
Step 5:

Cut out the tracing and use a glue stick to join all of the edges except for the ankle opening. Apply glue to the surface of each shoe and sprinkle on glitter.

With scrap paper, lightly blot the glitter to secure it. From pink card stock, cut out an L-shaped crew sock (about 4 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall) to fit inside the shoe. Trace around it to create a sock for each invitation.

For a finishing touch, glue lace to the top of each sock, and they're ready to deliver.

Prepare Sweet & Sour Sauce; set aside. With your finger or a small brush, spread a 1/2-inch strip of water down the center of each won ton square. Crinkle the center together to form a bow shape; twist once to secure. Repeat with remaining squares.

Pour oil about 1/2-inch deep into a large skillet. Heat to 400 F (205C). Fry won tons in hot oil in a single layer until golden brown on each side. Drain on paper towels. May be frozen. Bows will also keep up to 1 month in an airtight container at room temperature.

Before serving, reheat bows in a 400F (205C) oven 5 to 7 minutes or until hot; check frequently as bows burn easily.

In a small bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 2 tablespoons sugar; beat until stiff. Fold egg whites into thickened gelatin mixture. In a small bowl, whip cream. Fold whipped cream and bananas into gelatin mixture. Pour into a 6-cup mold. Refrigerate overnight or up to 2 days.

Unmold gelatin to serve. To unmold, run the tip of a table knife around the edges. Dip bottom of mold in warm water and invert onto platter.

Preheat oven to 350F (l75C). Place chicken breasts in a 13" x 9" baking dish.

Add water, celery tops, onion and salt. Cut wax paper to cover baking dish. Butter one side of paper. Place paper over chicken, buttered-side down. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove from oven and cool. Remove skin and bones from chicken. Cut meat into bite-size pieces; set aside. May be refrigerated up to 2 days.

Peel and halve cucumbers. Remove seeds. Cut cucumbers into 2-inch long pieces. Cut pieces into thin strips. Remove seeds from green pepper. Cut into thin strips about 2 inches long. Melt butter or margarine in a small skillet. Saut� cucumber and green pepper until slightly wilted but still crisp. Vegetable mixture may be refrigerated up to 2 days. Prepare Kaanipali Sauce.

Before serving, place chicken, shrimp, cucumber and green pepper together in a large saucepan. Gently stir in sauce. Cover and heat. Serve with rice and assorted condiments.
